BARBERVILLE, FL — Feb. 15, 2019 — Fast fact: the last four World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series races held at the Volusia Speedway Park as part of the DIRTcar Nationals have now been won by the same driver in the same car. “The Rocket Shepp” Brandon Sheppard put on yet another powerful display of motor and muscle on Friday night, as he led 41 of 50 laps en route to his third victory in three days. Sheppard won the fourth and final World of Outlaws race last year at Volusia, making this four in a row for the Rocket Chassis house car driver at “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile.”

Another Mark in the Win Column for the Rocket Chassis House Car, Weiss Shows Signs of Strength

BARBERVILLE, FL – Feb. 14, 2019 – The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series had a streak going of three different winners in three races after Wednesday night. Brandon Sheppard’s back-to-back win on Thursday night over Scott Bloomquist, Don O’Neal and Rookie of the Year contender Ricky Weiss changed all that, as he led 39 laps on his way to victory on Night 4 of Late Model Week at Volusia Speedway Park as part of the 48th Annual DIRTcar Nationals.

Winter Freeze IX, Night Two Goes to the Second Georgian in Two Races

SYLVANIA, GA – Feb. 9, 2019 – Georgia native Shane Clanton broke a year-and-a-half winless streak by dominating the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series 50-lap Feature Saturday night at Screven Motor Speedway.

Clanton, the 2015 Series champion from Zebulon, GA, had gone 51 races without a win before earning his fourth victory at Screven and 43rd all-time in World of Outlaws competition, holding off Kyle Hardy and Chase Junghans to the checkered flag.

Scott Bloomquist dominates Saturday's field for 32nd-career Outlaw win, Marlar takes sixth and his first ever Series title at Charlotte

CONCORD, NC – November 3, 2018 – What once started earlier this year, all the way back in February at the Volusia Speedway Park for the DIRTcar Nationals is now complete. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series wrapped up its 30th Anniversary tour on Saturday night at the Dirt Track at Charlotte in the World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am, where Scott Bloomquist won his first since Florida in February and fellow-Tennessee native Mike Marlar officially clinched his very first World of Outlaws championship points title.

"The Rocket Shepp" gets his 13th win of the year, but will it be lucky enough to catch Marlar for the title?

CONCORD, NC – November 3, 2018 - The Friday portion of the 2018 World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am Off Road at the Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway was finally completed on Saturday afternoon, after it was rescheduled from Friday night due to the city of Charlotte’s curfew.

Brandon Sheppard collected his 13th win of the season and inched closer to a repeat championship, still to be decided in the Saturday portion. 2006 Series Champion Tim McCreadie gave “The Rocket Shepp” a good run through 50 laps, swapping the lead back and forth several times, but was unable to catch and pass Sheppard in the end.

Clanton sets Friday's fast time, Marlar sets Saturday's... for now.

CONCORD, NC – November 1, 2018 – Night one of the World of Outlaws World Finals presented by Can-Am Off Road from The Dirt Track at Charlotte got off to a great start on Thursday afternoon, with Super DIRTcar Series qualifying sessions rolling onto the track promptly at 3:45. Things didn’t end very well for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Models, though, as their final qualifying session of the evening was halted by Mother Nature.
