2018 LMS Stateline Ransomville Wayne County

CONCORD, NC­– May 26, 2018– The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series has completed 12 races so far this season, and by the end of June that number will nearly double. On the docket for next month are 10 races in six separate states, including Tennessee, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Missouri.

The most demanding stretch of racing in June will be mid-month with three stops at three separate tracks in two states: Stateline Speedway in Jamestown, NY on June 14; Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, NY on June 15; and Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, OH on June 16. Full-time World of Outlaws drivers and their teams will travel almost 400 miles between the trio of dirt tracks to face regional competitors in New York and Ohio who dare stand nose-to-nose with the toughest bunch in Late Model racing.

2018 LMS IOWA

CONCORD, NC– May 18, 2018– After a one year hiatus from Iowa, the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series returns to the Hawkeye State three times in 2018, including stops at Dubuque Speedway on July 6, Davenport Speedway on July 24, and Farley Speedway on August 6.

As part of the Series’ 30th commemorative anniversary season, the Outlaws are returning to several tracks visited in the early years. Davenport Speedway and Farley Speedway both made their debuts with the World of Outlaws during the Series rebirth season in 2004. Both tracks have since held one additional event. The following year in 2005, Dubuque made its first and last appearance on the World of Outlaws schedule. Until now.

2018 LMS 411 Volunteer

CONCORD, NC– May 18, 2018– The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series kicks off the month of June in Tennessee for two thrilling 50-lap $10,000-to-win feature events. The Series’ final stop in the Volunteer State this season will begin on June 1 at Seymour, Tennessee’s 411 Motor Speedway and will conclude in Bulls Gap, TN at Volunteer Speedway on June 2.

Postponed Atomic Speedway

WAVERLY, OH – May 17, 2018 – The two-day Outlaw Invasion scheduled this weekend at Atomic Speedway is shifting to Sept. 28-29 because of persistent rain. The weather this week led World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series officials and Atomic Speedway staff to move the event to the fall, placing the doubleheader right in the stretch run of the highly anticipated 2018 championship battle.

CHILLICOTHE, OH– May 15, 2018– The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series gets set for a doubleheader weekend of two complete $10,000-to-win shows at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio on May 18-19 for the Outlaw Invasion. Last year, Devin Moran collected his first-ever World of Outlaws win at the 3/8-mile dirt track.

2018 LMS Chub Frank Retired

CONCORD, NC – May 8, 2018– After more than 14 consecutive seasons together, Chub Frank has officially retired from competition with the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series. Frank has entered every World of Outlaws event since the Series rekindled in 2004 (except for two races due to an injury).

Over the years, Frank has collected 16 World of Outlaws wins, with his first win being on April 23, 2004 in his home state of Pennsylvania at Lernerville Speedway, and his last win being at K-C Raceway (now Atomic Speedway) in Ohio on August 22, 2009. Frank currently sits 10th on the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series All-Time Wins list.

2018 LMS Pre Race Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, NC­ – MAY 7, 2018 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series invades Fayetteville Motor Speedway on May 11-12 for one of the richest events of the year – the inaugural First in Flight 100 presented by Hoker Trucking, paying $25,001-to-win and $2,000-to-start. This is the biggest payout for an event in the track’s 50-year history.

Outlaws Invade Fayetteville Motor Speedway for 2-Day First in Flight 100

CONCORD, NC — May 5, 2018 — (from May 1 Fayetteville Motor Speedway release) Fayetteville Motor Speedway, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018, will host the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, celebrating its 30th in 2018, on May 11-12th for the biggest Super Late Model event in the state of North Carolina. The First in Flight 100, presented by Hoker Trucking in memory of Carlton Lamm will pay a whopping $25,001 to Win and $2,000 to start. In addition to the mega-Feature, a Non-Qualifiers Race for drivers that don’t transfer into the main event will pay $2,000 to win and $300 to start. As an added bonus for drivers and fans on Friday night, May 11, the drivers that make it to the redraw out of each heat race will run a special Big C Dash For Cash, paying $500 to win, that will determine the top starting positions for Saturday's 100-Lap $25,001-to-win Feature presented by Hoker Trucking.

Outlaws Set to Kick Off Smoky Mountain Speedway’s 2018 Season

Tennessee Tipoff goes green Friday and Saturday, Thursday’s practice canceled

MARYVILLE, TN– April 25, 2018– The Tennessee Tipoff at Smoky Mountain Speedway will kick off on Friday, April 27 and conclude on Saturday, April 28. With sun and 70-degree temperatures forecast for the weekend, excitement is high for the big event. Track officials have canceled Thursday’s open practice due to the passing thunderstorms.
