PEVELY, MO— July 1, 2017— Brandon Sheppard claimed his eighth win of the 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series season and his second win of the 2017 DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 on Saturday. This win additionally advanced him to 13-career Summer Nationals wins, ultimately placing him 13th on the all-time wins list.

JOLIET, IL— June 28, 2017— The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series headed on to the track at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway for the FVP Outlaw Clay Classic 50 lap $10,000-to-win event at the same time that heavy rain and dangerous lightning moved into the area ultimately forcing the postponement of the event. The makeup date for the feature will be on Oct. 13 in addition to the already scheduled two-day event— the Chi Town Showdown on Oct. 13-14. The lineup for the postponed event is already set due to the completion of qualifying and heat races.

SARVER, PA— June 24, 2017— The 11th annual Firecracker 100 was combined for one huge event on Saturday with back-to-back World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series action at the famed 4/10-mile oval— Lernerville Speedway. The afternoon matinee included a full show with a 30-lap feature which then lead to the main events that evening— the Uncle Sam 30 and the Firecracker 100.

SMETHPORT, P.A.— June 20, 2017— Max Blair defended his home state by maneuvering his way to his first-ever World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series win at McKean County Raceway in Smethport, PA during the Hamlin Lake 50. The Pennsylvania-native was met in Victory Lane by a fan club of family and friends who rushed the track for the celebration. After embracing the moment under a shower of confetti, Blair was seemingly at a loss for words trying to describe his first Outlaw win.

BRIGHTON, ON, CAN - June 17, 2017 - Brandon Sheppard took the lead from Frank Heckenast Jr. on lap 10 and led the final 40 laps of the Mud Slingin’ 50 at Brighton Speedway to claim his first career victory on Canadian soil and the 12th of his World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series career. Tyler Erb raced to a second-place finish ahead of Morgan Bagley, who bounced back from a flat tire to finish on the podium.

SENOIA, G.A.— June 4, 2017— The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series took the track at Senoia Raceway for the first time ever for the third annual Billy Clanton Classic. Despite this race being many of the drivers first time on the unique gray gumbo surface, everyone seemed to enjoy how racy the track was all night long. It was ultimately Brandon Sheppard who was able to hold off the field to land his fifth Series win of the season.

Tazewell, TN—June 2, 2017— Shane Clanton proved he is bad fast and fearless as the 31-degree banking at Tazewell Speedway didn’t hold him back from leading all 50-laps of the Ray Varner 50 in order to land his third Series win of the season.

Orrville, Ohio— May 27, 2017—Series powerhouse, Brandon Sheppard, was the lucky winner of the evening as he found his way to Victory Lane at Wayne County Speedway for the first time since the beginning of the month. Additionally, Devin Moran made an impressive hard charge from a 19th start to finish second.

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio— May 26, 2016—Devin Moran struck gold at Atomic Speedway during the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series first appearance in 2017 in his home state of Ohio. Moran landed his first quick time of the season during qualifying, won his heat race and led all 50-laps of the Craftsman Club Feature to wheel his way to his first career Series win.

WHEEL, T.N.— May 14— The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series wrapped up a two-day swing through Tennessee at Duck River Raceway Park on Mother’s Day. Tennessee-native Mike Marlar wheeled his way to victory lane to claim his second-ever Series win.
